7. The compliance violation has been corrected prior to the hearing; provided, however that this defense shall not apply to sections 9-64-125; 9-76-140(a); 9-76-160(a),(f); 9-76-220.

You will be notified by postcard of your hearing time. All Notices will be mailed to the address of the registered owner as recorded with the Secretary of State.

IF YOU FAIL TO RESPOND TO THIS VIOLATION NOTICE, A DETERMINATION OF LIABILITY MAY BE ENTERED AGAINST YOU. If the fine is not paid within 21 days after a Determination of Liability, a late payment penalty equal in amount to the fine will be added. The determination wiil become final for purposes of administrative and judicial review. If you accumulate 5 or more Final Determinations of parking/compliance liability, any vehicle you own can be booted and Impounded until all fines and penalties are paid. After 10 Final Determinations of parking liability, the City will send certification to the Secretary of State that ynii are eligible far driver’s license suspension. A Final Determination may be enforced in the same manner as a judgment entered by a court of competent jurisdiction. Final Determinations are collectabie by means including collection agency and credit bureau action, and the imposition of liens on real estate and personal estates. Any expenses incurred by the City to enforce the determination, including but not limited to attorney’s fees and court costs, shall be debts due and owing to the City.
