почему вы так думаете?
Потому что довольно часто люди, закончившие с отличием 5 уровней обучения по-прежнему не говорят или говорят, но не понимают, или их не понимают. Нужно учить живой разговорный язык в языковой среде.
Английский весь построен на устойчивых фразеологизмах. Их надо заучивать, как песню. Помогают small talk и Rosetta stone. Необходимо смотреть телевизор (лучше всего - Диснеевские мультики с чистым и внятным произношением). А главное - говорить. Со всеми, в магазине, в аптеке и тд.

Лада я с вами согласен, почти. Все это поможет, и курсы помогут. Но чтобы общаться с американцами на их уровне. Только пару лет общения с ними помогут. Так же как и ко всем "устойчивых фразеологизмах" есть еще сама "AMERICANA" каторая должна присуствовать в свободном общении с ними. Тогда пройдете интервью успешно )

Протону - Совершенно согласна. Хотя лично я "разболталась" на работе - слушала внимательно, как они говорят, если не понимала, уточняла значение, тут же записывала на листочке, и обклеивала листочками экран и все "свои" поверхности
И заучивала фразами, как песенку - I haven't seen u for a long time - на одном дыхании.
Тот small talk, который я посылаю, тем и хорош, что он составлен под ритмическую музычку, и его приятно слушать в машине. Язык в совершенстве он, конечно, не даст, зато даст языковые разговорные связки. Типа, если тебе нужны лишние секунды подумать, ты произносишь Well... It's a good question... Let me think about it - и у тебя есть необходимые секунды

Самый лучший курс разговорного английского в индийских call-centers.Я когда звоню по 1-800 в свой банк мне всегда отвечает какая-нибудь Чандра.Абсолютно без акцента немного хрипловатым голосом как у актрисы Лоренс Бакал (играла с Хамфри Богартом).Чандра мне сказала что их даже учат говорить с разным региональным акцентов.Зависит от того откуда звонок-в Техасе говорят не так как в Айове.
Я еду в Индию.Изучать Кама-Сутру и техасский акцент.

Предыдущий аноним: Заучите лучше Small Talk. Это реальные связки, которые звучат так, как их произносят американцы. Разговорные клише. Английский очень фразеологичен. Это значит, что люди привыкли одни и те же вещи называть и обозначать теми же словами.
Разговоры о погоде, о самочуствии, здравствуй-прощай - это не столько разговор, сколько иллюзия разговора. Обмен фразами. Если они звучат похоже, это как знак "Ты свой" - и это реально помогает в общении.
Small Talk - это не панацея, не грамматика, которая тоже нужна. Это просто палочка-выручалочка для начинающего. Пойте в машине с ними. Разговаривайте в машине вслух. Все это очень помогает на первых порах.
Еще очень хорош курс Розетта Стоун.
А фразы сверху - да, они тоже помогут в комплекте. И даже покажут, что у вас есть чувство юмора.

А точно так же Я же говорила, это часто встречается. Даже пятый уровень, а говорить человек не может. Из всего, что я слышала и сама использовала, здесь 3 ключа: первое - набраться всех этих разговорных связочек (тут Small talk - самое оно), просто ставить в машине и повторять за ними до одури. Первый признак, что пошло - начинает во сне английский звучать. Второе - смотреть диснеевские мультики и повторять заинтересовавшие фразы. И третье - просто говорить. Везде, в банке, в магазине, ни о чем, но произносить фразы. Только так можно разговориться.
