Safety Manager – Reefer Department
CB Freight Inc. is a multicultural trucking company committed to safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Specializing in reefer and flatbed transportation, we’re seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to oversee safety operations for our reefer department.
Key Responsibilities 🔑
✅ Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and protocols for the reefer fleet.
🛠 Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
📋 Monitor and enforce adherence to DOT regulations and company policies.
🔍 Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
🤝 Collaborate with other departments to improve overall safety culture.
Qualifications
📌 Proven experience in a safety management role, preferably in the transportation industry.
📜 Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance standards.
🗣 Excellent communication and organizational skills.
💻 Proficiency in safety management systems and software (a plus).
🚨 Ability to handle emergencies and make decisions under pressure.
