We are looking to fill in the following position:
▣ POSITION: DISPATCHER -FLATBED EXPERIENCE ONLY.
▣ Location: In office.
▣ Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5pm.
▣ Compensation: $1200- $2500+ DOE + percentage uncapped!!
▣ Job description:
Experienced dispatcher for a FLATBED trucking company , We are looking for someone with flatbed dispatch experience, freight securement, and great customer service skills.
▣ Requirements:
2 years of experience in the Flatbed trucking industry ,dispatching drivers and customer service.
Skilled in booking loads from DAT- TRUCKSTOP- DIRECT BROKER LOADS according to the market spot rate and company needs.
The ability to work in a fast paced environment and make decisions.
Ability to communicate efficiently and clearly with drivers, brokers, shippers and receivers.
Team player with good sales skills
General knowledge of FMCSA Hours of Service (preferred)
Strong written and organization skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Detail oriented.
Strong work ethics.
▣ RESPONSABILITES:
Assign loads to drivers.
Assist customers in matters concerning their freight.
Coordinate delivery appointments and get directions.
Ensure all drivers’ status, dates, and times are accurate.
Document any communication with drivers by placing a check call with detailed comments. Along with documenting and any pertinent issues occurring during non business hours.
Track monitor selected customers for on-time deliveries
Answer all incoming phone calls.
Direct vehicle repairs between driver and maintenance.
