A trucking company in East Dundee is looking for a Safety Manager with at least 2 years of verified experience in the position. The ideal candidate should be motivated, responsible, and organized, with strong knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations. The Safety Manager must be able to work independently and handle all safety-related tasks, including but not limited to: MVR, PSP, Medstop, Clearinghouse, and DQ. The position also involves conducting driver orientations and explaining company policies.
The candidate must be fluent in both Russian and English, as effective communication in both languages is essential.
Additional responsibilities include tracking all necessary documents for trucks and trailers, such as annual inspections, repair receipts, IRP, IFTA, cab cards, and more. Ensuring ELD compliance is a key part of the job. A basic understanding of claims handling is preferred. Experience with Pro-Transport is a plus.
Only candidates with prior experience as a Safety Manager will be considered. Safety assistants and recent graduates from safety courses will not be eligible for this position.
