Countryside Montessori with summer camp 22K per year

Countryside Montessori in Northbrook with summer camp 22K per year, they also expect donations and lunches for the whole group from parents. Be very careful when talking to them, they very interested about your financials and want upfront 250.00 nonrefundable fee. If you planning to put your kids in public school after it please make sure you will prepare them for the transition.

What about Public School transition ?

When I asked about transition the director was not really forthcoming with information - Our kids are very polite and teachers love them. But this was not the answer I was looking for. Info from the parents - they are good for preK, K and 1G but longer you keep them in Montessori system the longer will be the transition. With Countryside they want long time commitment (up to 6G which is ridicules). I really like the school but the kids look so unreal their - quiet, polite (not like it bad, unusual), no emotions at all.
