The Taylor County Human Services Department has a full-time opening for an Accounting Specialist.
Duties include processing accounts payable, preparing monthly payroll journal entries, preparing weekly deposits, maintaining excel tracking report and working in conjunction with billing on collections and claims and statement processing.
This position will also provide backup for the receptionist and the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program [WHEAP], as needed. Confidentiality of all department and client matters is required.

Applicant must have an Associate Degree, related to the accounting/bookkeeping field and two [2] years of relevant accounting, bookkeeping and/or medical billing experience or any other combination that provides the relevant knowledge base.
