Taylor County is seeking a full-time Mental Health Counselor. Individual will provide assessments/diagnosis, counseling or psychotherapeutic services to clients, mental health prevention services, crisis intervention services, mental health consultation and training, referral services to inquiries about community resources, and maintain case records while adhering to federal, state and county laws, regulations and policies.

Applicants for this position must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or other similar degree. A desirable candidate will have 3,000 hours of supervised clinical work experience and experience working with families and children with serious behavioral and emotional disorders. Full-licensure is preferred, however, willing to consider a LPC-IT. Priority will be given to those candidates fully licensed in Wisconsin and individuals credentialed with major insurance companies. AODA training is desirable. A valid driver’s license is required.
