Dura Management offers 260 units of market rate and affordable housing. This property manages three locations. Somers, Mount Pleasant, and downtown Kenosha.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient and effective operations of the physical property. Overall responsibilities could include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain grounds (lawn care, snow removal, salting, etc.) and common areas as needed.
• Complete work orders in a timely fashion
• Report accidents, emergency, or safety concerns to property manager immediately
• Prepares areas and performs general and preventative maintenance work.
• Fabricates and repairs structures.
• Painting walls, doors, ceiling, etc.

• We are looking for someone:
• Knowledge of using a zero-turn mower
• To work 40 or more hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (plus participation in the on-call rotation schedule)
• Knowledge of and/or experience with light electrical, plumbing, appliances, construction, carpentry, painting parts, and/or services (general handyman experience in building maintenance) - carpentry experience is ideal as both properties have unit remodels in process.
• With interpersonal skills to interact professionally, clearly, and respectfully with tenants and others as needed.
• To provide their own basic tools for the position
• Able to use sound judgment, work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another.
• This offer is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and background.
