Alter Metal Recycling in Medford, WI has an immediate opening for a full time General Laborer. Under supervision, the General Laborer loads and unloads material from customer vehicles or trucks and sorts into appropriate areas. May use forklift, skidsteer or loader to sort and/or break down material for customer use.
Duties include:
- inspects inbound material received from customer
- identifies material and sorts material according to type
- packages scrap in appropriate manner
- moves material in the yard or warehouse using forklift or loader
- other responsibilities as assigned

Candidates should have 2-3 years verifiable work history, good attendance, and good communication skills.
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and be a team player.
