Repairs, maintains, and installs wiring, motors, transformers, generators, lighting, and other electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Installs, repairs, and maintains motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment and components in compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Operates a variety of electrical testing equipment used for troubleshooting Read blueprints or technical diagrams before doing work Install and maintain wiring and lighting systems Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment
Qualifications:
2 -3 years electrical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience:
Ability to use various tools, equipment, test instruments, PPE, and other materials common to the electrical trade Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electric system. Basic knowledge in installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment and components. Must possess excellent skill in both verbal and written communication.

Experience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organization PC literate – understanding of how to use the technology as a tool Ability to communicate with all levels within a client’s management structure. Good team player and Able to command credibility and be able to influence
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud. Must be capable of climbing ladders. Lifting capacity of 30 lbs.
