Full-time experienced Diesel Mechanic wanted to help maintain fleet of late model tractors and trailers.
This position is responsible for all preventative maintenance and repairs.
Additional responsibilities include maintaining clean and orderly shop facility and communication with drivers.
Qualified applicants must be reliable, self-motivated and have an excellent attendance record.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Preventative maintenance / running repair / brakes
• Engine bolt-on component
• Engine / transmission diagnose
• A/C repair • Electrical -- charging / starting / lighting
• Steering repair
• All tractor preventative maintenance and repair
• Receives repair orders from supervisor and performs work as outlined
• Diagnoses cause and performs repair of any malfunction
• Communicates with parts department to obtain required parts
• Saves and tags parts if the job is under warranty or if requested. Documents work performed
• Conducts all activity with regard to personal safety and the safety of other personnel
• Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Must have valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not mandatory)
• Possess own hand tools we will provide uniforms.
• Certifications from Diesel Technical school is a plus
• 40-50 hours a week on average
