We need a caring, empathetic, LIVE-IN caregiver for our 80 year old mother in Grand Rapids, Michigan (a 3 hour drive from Chicago). Our ideal candidate will have experience with in-home caregiving including assistance with activities of daily living: personal grooming, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, help bathing, help getting to and from the bathroom, getting her out of the house, running errands, etc. Much of the time, we're looking for somebody who can sit by her bedside and just listen and talk.

Included: Rent free small private bedroom, three meals a day, free wifi, free utilities, etc.
Also experience early stage dementia. Shift available for live-in, weekdays and weekends. Opportunity available for additional hours. Fingerprinting and background check required. CNA is a plus, but not required. Paid training is a bonus. Ask about our signing bonus policy. Salary to $13.00/hr + or equivalent live-in daily rate commensurate with experience.
