IBEW members are in high demand throughout Indiana, and we need new applicants.

In the Evansville area, there are a few large projects such as a shutdown for a large Toyota plant. There is also has a lot of steel mill work and shutdowns, as well as a powerhouse scrubber project in the area.

The Gary & Hammond area has a lot of steel mill work.

In Indianapolis, we’ll have up to 200 members working on a UPS facility expansion. Other major projects in the state, extending into Michigan, include construction of a $500 million co-gen power station, and a second similar plant in Niles, MI. Recent municipal approvals have been given to a major casino project in the South Bend area.
