TRUCK AND TRAILER REPAIRS LLC

Truck and Trailer Repair Shop is looking for a dedicated Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair trucks and trailers. In this role you will be responsible for performing proper diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles. Principal Responsibilities:
· Inspect mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
· Able to repair or replace broken parts in timely manner
· Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
· Knowledge of repair & service procedures
· Able to thoroughly perform Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
· Brake and air components
· Wheel components and tires
· Suspension and running gear components
· Performs other maintenance duties or assignments when necessary
· Maintains a clean, safe environment that complies with OSHA and company standards
· Ability to handle various tools (air tools, electric tools, welder & torch) and heave equipment (lifting to 50lb, alignments, hydraulic jacks)

Basic Qualifications:
· 1-5 years as Truck and Trailer Mechanic
· High School Diploma/GED
· Possess a valid Driver’s License
· Fluent in English
· A willingness to work as part of a team
· Ability to perform inspections and repairs without supervision in some (not all required) of the following heavy truck and trailers: Suspensions & Steering, General Engine, Transmissions, Brakes, Electrical, Hydraulics
