We are seeking a reliable and experienced accountant for a mid sized trucking company. Must have previous experience in trucking. ProTransport, statements, billing and Invoicing (factoring) etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Assist in month-end close function for preparation of financial / operational reports
Billing & Invoicing
Data Entry
Statements
Other Accounting and office duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years’ experience of Accounting
Experience in Transportation, Distribution or Logistics a plus
Proficient in the use of Excel, MicroSoft Office
Understanding of Cost Accounting / Activity Based Modeling
Strong understanding of payroll processes for permanent and temporary workers
Strong analytical skills with an ability to focus on the details
Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem-solving skills
EDUCATION

Previous experience in a trucking / transportation company preferred
