Job description
The trucking company is looking for a Truck and Freight dispatcher who can book loads and dispatch drivers. The ideal candidate has previous over-the-road load planning experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team-based environment. We Offer: Monday - Friday from 8AM - 5PM $1500 - $2500 every week Bonuses Nice Office at Markham IL Job Responsibilities: Load planning assigned fleet of trucks Using freight booking platforms to book freight Negotiating rates and short-term dry-van freight contracts Serving as a main point of contact for assigned drivers Proactively tracking shipments and alerting customers about anticipated scheduling delays Minimum Requirements: One year of previous dispatcher/load planner Fundamental knowledge of transportation and routing in the US Previous experience using different load boards such as DAT, Internet TruckStop Ability to work individually and as a part of a team Proven track record of managing and routing company drivers Important : Work strictly in the office!
