The concept of a Caucasian race is highly controversial today. It is rejected by many academics and political activists who view any system of categorizing humanity based on physical type as an obsolete 19th century racism, and human genome studies have shown that there is no single and simple genetic definition equivalent to "Caucasian". The term continues to be widely used in many scientific and general contexts, usually with its more restricted sense of "white".
в иллинойсе при подаче на SS# нужно писать White, а на формах immigration Caucasian.,или Driver L.
А мне непонятно,ибо Я принадлежу одному из народов ближнего востока т.е. не туда и не там

A common definition of a 'white person' is a person of primarily, or wholly, European ancestry.[1] However, the term is sometimes used more broadly, so that it becomes similar to the concept of the Caucasian race or Caucasoid people, which includes people with ancestry from the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Central, and South Asia, who share certain physiological characteristics and genetics with Europeans beyond skin colour.
