About Us:
We are a growing trucking company with a fleet of over 300 trucks and operations across multiple states. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Safety Department and contribute to our continuous growth and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Driver Qualification (DQ) File Management: Maintain and ensure compliance of all DQ files, including periodic reviews, updates, and audits in accordance with DOT regulations.
Driver Hiring & Onboarding: Lead the driver recruitment process, from screening to onboarding, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including FMCSA guidelines and internal safety policies.
Incident Investigation: Conduct investigations of any safety-related incidents and collaborate with the necessary departments for resolution.
Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs for drivers focused on safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory updates.
Safety Audits & Reporting: Conduct regular safety audits and provide reports to management on driver performance, compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
Regulatory Updates: Stay current with the latest industry safety regulations and ensure company practices are updated accordingly.

Experience: at least 3 years in the trucking industry, specifically in safety management.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of DOT regulations, particularly regarding DQ files and driver hiring standards.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to documentation and record-keeping for compliance purposes.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers and management.
Problem-solving: Ability to assess situations quickly and provide effective solutions to safety and compliance issues.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with safety management software and tools for managing DQ files and reporting.
