Job Title: Fleet Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Fleet Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our trucking fleet. The ideal candidate will assist in vehicle scheduling, maintenance coordination, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations. This role plays a key part in keeping our trucks on the road, our drivers supported, and our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in scheduling and dispatching trucks and drivers.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of fleet maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Track vehicle locations and mileage using GPS or fleet tracking systems.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and vendors to schedule vehicle servicing.
Ensure all fleet documentation is up to date (e.g., insurance, registrations, inspection reports).
Support compliance with DOT and other transportation regulations.
Maintain fuel usage records and assist with fuel card program management.
Help onboard new drivers with vehicle assignments and orientation.
Respond to driver inquiries and support needs in real-time.
Assist in accident or incident documentation and reporting.
