We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Terminal Yard Operations Supervisor to oversee daily yard activities, manage driver operations, and maintain efficient inventory control at our West Chicago, IL terminal.

Responsibilities:

-Supervise and coordinate daily yard operations, including vehicle inventory and driver flow in and out of the facility.
-Enforce company yard rules, safety policies, and operational procedures.
-Lead and support a team of drivers, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
-Optimize yard and fleet operations — assist drivers with vehicle location, prepare inventory for loading, build and print loads promptly.
-Conduct daily yard audits to verify inventory accuracy.
-Reconcile held units and maintain up-to-date reporting.
-Monitor compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations and company safety standards, taking immediate corrective action when necessary.
-Observe and guide drivers to ensure safe and proper loading procedures in accordance with customer and company requirements.

Requirements:

-Proven leadership, management, and supervisory experience in the auto transport industry.
-Dispatch experience preferred.
-Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
-Good verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Ability to work Monday–Saturday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
