Schwarz Logistics is seeking an experienced Safety Assistant to join our team.
location: Joliet, IL

Compensation:
* Salary based on experience
* 1099 (independent contractor) position
* Paid vacation and 3 sick days per year

Schedule:
* Monday–Friday
* 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update Driver Qualification (DQ) files
* Assist with safety compliance and internal safety operations
* Conduct driver training and participate in new driver orientation
* Perform employment verifications
* Support safety department with documentation and reporting

Requirements:
* Fluency in English (required)
* Romanian and/or Russian language skills are a plus
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in computer systems and standard office tools
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
