We are seeking a highly motivated Safety and Compliance Manager to lead and enhance our safety programs, policies, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will oversee safety procedures, drive continuous improvement, and ensure adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
Responsibilities:
1.Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
2. Monitor safety scores and FMCSA ratings, ensuring regulatory compliance.
3. Conduct internal audits and take corrective actions to maintain compliance.
4. Manage the full cycle of cargo claims, from verification to settlement.
5. Oversee safety department operations and integrate safety procedures into day-to-day operations.
6. Investigate and resolve safety incidents to prevent future occurrences.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in safety management and compliance (DOT/FMCSA).
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, industry best practices, and claims management.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead and collaborate with teams to drive safety improvements.
Bilingual (English & Russian or Ukrainian) required. From office, located in Chicago, IL area
