Job Summary

Seeking a dependable, honest, hardworking individual for garage door repair and installation. Primary duties include service, repair, sales, installation and troubleshooting garage doors and garage door openers. Strong ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.

Duties

Inspect garage doors, openers and related components; diagnose problems; replace or repair doors, openers and parts.
Install new garage doors and openers, including framing, hanging doors, and securing hardware using hand tools and power tools
Lift heavy doors or components safely while following proper ergonomic practices
Read construction schematics to determine the correct placement of hardware and structural elements
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Requirements

Proven experience in new garage doors and openers installation
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical systems relevant to garage door installation
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred for transporting materials and equipment

Installer - Pay - per door installed
Technician - 25% commission
