Now Hiring: Safety Assistant

📍 Location: Woodstock, IL

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Safety Assistant to join our trucking company team. This position will primarily support the driver hiring and onboarding process while assisting with safety and compliance tasks.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in trucking safety
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience working with driver qualification files
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Process driver applications and conduct pre-employment screenings
• Verify employment history and references
Request and review MVRs, PSP reports, and background checks
• Assist with driver onboarding and orientation
• Maintain and update Driver Qualification DQ files
• Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
• Monitor driver documents, licenses, and medical certificates for expiration
• Assist with drug and alcohol testing requirements and records
• Perform other administrative and safety-related duties as assigned
