Safety Assistant / Hiring Coordinator – Trucking Industry

I have one year of hands-on experience in driver hiring and onboarding within the trucking industry, along with a strong understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations. I am experienced in managing the full hiring process, including reviewing driver applications, verifying CDL and medical certificates, running background checks, and ensuring all Driver Qualification Files (DQF) are complete and compliant.

I work closely with drivers throughout the onboarding process, clearly explaining company policies, safety requirements, and compliance standards. I regularly track expirations for CDL, medical cards, and other required documents.

I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple hiring and compliance tasks simultaneously. I work confidently with Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, PDFs, and internal TMS/CRM systems, and I handle sensitive driver information with professionalism and confidentiality.
