We are an asset-based trucking company seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to take full ownership of fleet maintenance, repairs, and cost control. This is a leadership role responsible for uptime, compliance, repair quality, and maintenance spend.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all tractor and trailer maintenance operations

Manage OTR breakdowns end-to-end and source cost-effective repairs nationwide

Lead and hold accountable the maintenance and shop team

Enforce preventive maintenance programs and DOT compliance

Approve major repairs, control vendors, and prevent overcharging

Reduce downtime, control cost per mile, and extend equipment life

Maintain accurate maintenance records and support inspections

Requirements

5+ years fleet maintenance management experience (trucking)

Strong diesel, electrical, brake, and trailer knowledge

Proven leadership and vendor negotiation skills

Strong decision-making under pressure
