Develops and executes Business Plans to capitalize on trade and product opportunities. Executes strategies to optimize the penetration of new product introductions and special promotions in the assigned market. Meets quarterly or more frequently, as needed, with customer stakeholders, market specific delivery partners and Sales Management to update progress on Business Plans, monitors and tracks market progress, assesses the market place for additional opportunities and adjusts activities as needed. Develops a value added, productive working relationship with customers by proactively managing the Business Plan to establish credibility and respect through being accessible, providing solutions to business opportunities, providing follow-up for customer concerns and leveraging the Andersen brand to promote the customer’s business. Participates in and/or conducts presentations at local market meetings to provide trade and product expertise to customers. Provides training to customers to include, but not limited to sales process, product, installation and new product introduction. Liaison to Sales Management, Marketing and other internal delivery partners to provide input and feedback regarding product, programs and policies. Performs duties efficiently within established budgets and spending guidelines. Establishes credibility and respect with targeted customers and accounts by conducting business consistent with Andersen’s Vision, Values and Strategies. QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Four year degree in business or a related field of study. Three years of business to business selling experience preferred. Strong business knowledge, including basic sales and marketing principles. Experienced sales individuals who have previously sold windows, building supplies or millwork in the State of New York are preferred Knowledge of basic residential and commercial construction practices. Demonstrated ability to develop strong account business relationships as well as the development and maintenance of strong and constructive personal relationships with account delivery partners. Evidence of strong analytical and fact based planning skills. Robust communication skills (oral and written) required to ensure coordination, translate customer requirements to internal delivery partners and persuade account stakeholders to pursue mutually beneficial business strategies. Knowledge of Microsoft: Excel and PowerPoint Moderate Lifting required Occasional overnight stays Able to use, update and customize databases, electronic presentations and spreadsheets proficiently to communicate with internal and external delivery partners and stakeholders.
