Please if anybody can give me some advice from personal experience
5 years ago I had 2 misdemeanors (theft 5 th degree) for shoplifting . Police gave me tickets to go to court and judge ordered to go to misdemeanor class for both tickets. After completing class both tickets were dissmised
I read a lot and it looks like it can be deportable issue since it was 2 times.
Does anybody have any experience to file N 400 with 2 misdemeanors. May be I just should not even try.
I'm afraid they will start removing proceedings because of that

I know sm1 who has same type of cases and DWI, and smt... well, he is still waiting for INS to respond. They didnt call him for the test yet and He filed 3 years ago and he has an attorney....
On the other hand, its easy.... for me it was just super easy... I filed in June 2009, took a test this week, and going to ceremony in 3 weeks. Well, I know it seam like its not realistic

I think that a five years good moral character applies here. But you had 2...may be its different. A chto takoe 5th degree?

5th means under 100$
I do have 5 years since that and I do not have any problems with the law sinse 2004
About the lawyers
Probably 95% out of 100 I will do it with the lawyer but I do not trust them too much
They all told me to go and to file but what do they care if instead of citizenship I will end up in removal proceedings
I'm just trying to get as more info as possible about the situation before making a final decision

Да конечно наверное подавать буду
сейчас вот еще с тремя адвокатами прконсультируюсь и может выберу кого нанять
а то все совершенно разное говорят да еще и цены почему то разные тоже
например из фирмы Murthy from Maryland вообще сказали 1500 за то что бы проанализировать преступление и 2500 заполнить анкету
Это же вообще ужасно много
Вот теперь попробую еще пару адвокатов
посмотрю что скажут
просто насколько я поняла это дело случая одним людям ничего а другим даже за незначительное преступление гражданства не дают
Но посмотрим
А это вы вообщето правы нельзя же бояться всю жизнь
надо двигаться вперед
Но я вообще то подожду когда 5 лет истекут со дня того как дело закрыли тогда и подам
