Hello,
Could you please advise me with my situation?
I am a Russian citizen staying in US. My visa is expired more than a year ago. I need to go to the Russian Embassy to work on some papers. And I am afraid to do that because they will find out that I have brocken the law. I don't want to be sent back to Russia.
Is there any reason why I should try to avoid walking in the Embassy? Could they arrest me or take any other actions towards me making my situation worse?
Appreciate your help Seva

Yes, you can be deported, they can call the immigration police. If you've broken the law, it's better to sit tishe vody, nizhe travy
