My mother came to visit my family few months ago from Russia. She got in tereble accident and spent few days in a hospital. Unfourthunatelly we didn't buy health unsurance for her. We did up with a H-U-U-U-U-U-gh bill. Any ideas what can we do know. Ofcourse, we have to pay. But any other udeas???

Lana,
Was the the driver or a passanger? Was this a one or a two car accident? If two, does the other side have insurance? Did the person in who's car your mother was driving have the car insured? Who's fault is the accident? These are all the questions you need to ask. You'll either need to make a claim with your or the other person's insurance company, or better yet, go to a personal injury lawyer. I can recommend a good law firm.

...and home insurance coverage is not that big enaugh to cover the expenses...just think about not paying that...but be carefull

I was thinging don't pay it but in this case I don't think she will come here again. And for last 5 years my MOM visited us every winter and nothing happened before. And now she got 3 brokend bonds, 5 stitches and we have huge bills.... Please any advice?

Не нужно платить все сразу. Можно позвонить в госпиталь и установить план выплаты, например $50-100 долларов в месяц. Попробуйте!

Ан нет! У них планы либо на год, либо на полтора!
Если б ета женщина была жительницей штата Иллинойс, то еще могла б на какие-то скидки расчитывать, а так детям придется платить по полной программе Искренне надеюсь, что не очень большие счета!

Net vam lucshe zaplatit, tolko pozvonit v hospital i pogovorit s nimi, obyasnit sityaciu, mojete pripygnyt chto mama voobshe mojet im nezaplatit, ili platite im rublyami s maminoi pensii....
