"Buf Grove Park District - Resident Lottery is ON"- please, they just creating the hype. Most of the camps were still not filled by June last year.

My daughter went to Champion's camp last summer. It is in BG, school Dist.96. They have some good field trips twice a week, but they do not swim- just going to Sprinkle place.

Well, few years ago, some camps were FULL by the time WINTER catalog got published just from re-registration... And by June of few years - there were very few very part-time options available by March or so...
BUT
1. camps were longer (last year idea of July 30 end date is ON this year again...)
2. camps were cheaper
3. some camps had more trips...

Anyway, it is true, last year few camp spots were still available

D96 - doesn't cover ALL Buf Grove, plus School Summer Enrichment programs are NEWER and yes, must be helping to keep few of camp spots open thru park districts

and Enrichment is NOT available in ALL BG districts / schools

what do you mean Enrichment- Summer School? If yes, it is available until 12:00 p.m.M-F in Aptakisic School. But, what to do with them the rest of the day?

Anonim(ka): You don't have to be enrolled in Dist.96, to go to Champion Camp. Anyone welcome. We were not part of it either.

i know Northbrook D28 last year was specificaly stating - only in-district

Spasibo za Champion Link. I didn't know outside company rents space in Willow Grove as well while BG park district runs camps at site...

CenterforGifted.org will have summer camp in Copper Middle school in BG for about 6 weeks

Buffalo Grove added 2 optional weeks in August to Summer Camp.
For kids ages 6-12, 9-3pm - $150 at Alcott Center
