Rivals Sports Pub & Grille is looking to add more cooks to our staff. Summer Volleyball is starting soon and our Kitchen is busier than ever. We are currently looking for a Line Cook to add to our staff at our Sports Pub & Grille. We are a very busy kitchen serving up American fare with daily specials that vary. Experience necessary and professional personality a must. We have a very busy kitchen atmosphere that can become demanding. You will need to work days, evenings and weekend mornings.
Line Cook Responsibilities:
Self-starter, motivated, energetic attitude. HIGH VOLUME ORDERS, EXPERIENCE NEEDED.
Prepare food for service.
Knowledge of common cooking techniques
Knowledge of meat temperatures and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of kitchen measurements and basic recipe comprehension skills.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Answer, report, and follow the manager's instructions.
Clean up the station and take care of the line by covering, labeling, and dating all food.
Stock inventory appropriately.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and timely fashion.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Show up to work timely and appropriately dressed with a clean appearance.
A reliable mode of transportation to and from work.
Prefer at least 2 years of previous Line Cook Experience.
You need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
