Our Bus Drivers are the essential part of providing our students with an outstanding learning opportunity. Come join our transportation team that is focused on safety, creating relationships, and excellent customer service. The Bus Driver will have both an AM and a PM route with the option to have additional hours for driving for field trips, sporting events, etc.
Primary Job Summary:
The Bus Driver is responsible for providing support within the student transportation services area with specific responsibilities for transporting students over scheduled routes and/or to/from special excursions; ensuring vehicle is in safe operating condition; and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: One year previous experience driving a bus for a school setting preferred, no direct educational setting experience required.
Certifications: Must maintain a commercial driver’s license, air brake certification preferred, along with first aid and CPR certification.
**Training and mentoring will be provided to obtain the correct licensing and certifications.**
