Motor Cargo, INC is looking to fill a position for a driver safety advisor at our Lynwood, IL yard.
We are looking for a person with at least 6 months of experience
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Basic knowledge of motor carrier rules and regulations
Basic knowledge of computer skills
Ability to communicate verbally, in person and through e-mail, with employees, customers and vendors.
Ability to work well and communicate with peers in group settings
Be organized and able to multitask on short and long term projects
Advanced and proficient in reading, writing and speaking the English language
Current or ex-drivers that do not wish to drive anymore are encouraged to apply! CDL not necessary!
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Keeping track of maintenance, registration and insurance requirements of individual trucks and trailers
New driver orientation and check rides
Scheduling and review of motor vehicle records, previous employment and drug tests
Review of current drivers’ paperwork, log books, Bill of ladings etc.
Assistance in handling insurance claims
Job description:
Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
Saturday by appointment, not every Saturday is required
Starting pay $19 / Hour
