Hoosier Custom Carpentry is looking to add two team members to its residential framing crew.
One open position for apprentice framing carpenter with a minimum of 1 year experience framing new construction homes $16-$23 / hour.
Must have knowledge of basic carpentry skills, ability to read tape measure, ability to run air powered nailers, circular saw, and other necessary power tools for new construction framing.
One open position for journeyman framing carpenter with 3-5 years experience framing new construction homes $24-$30 / hour.
Journeyman applicants should have a strong understanding of new construction residential framing operations, ability to read blueprints, problem solving skills, highly motivated and leadership skills.
Applicants for either possession must be physically fit and able to lift 80 lbs, fluent in English, must be able to walk walls, have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Pay is negotiable upon completion of 30-45 day probationary period and based on experience.
Hours of operation are Mon-Fri 7-3:30 with the occasional Sat. if needed.
Time and a half pay after 40 hours in pay period.
Most job sites are located in the Lowell area, but we occasionally frame in newton and jasper counties.
