A Leading Industrial and Specialty Cleaning Solutions Manufacturing Co. seeking skilled Maintenance Manager with 4+ years of Supervising Technicians within a Manufacturing Maintenace Department.
IDEAL CANDIDATE: Person who has experience managing daily maintenance service, repair and improvement to the organization's facilities and equipment. This role will also be responsible for reducing maintenance related losses, breakdowns, maintenance cost, and loss of productivity.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY: * Ensure the safe operation of the department by internal and OSHA standards in a chemical manufacturing environment. * Manage and train department personnel to improve individual and department performance, including development and documentation of internal SOP's, manage department personnel hours and overtime. * Manage the maintenance and operation of the facility's equipment, building structure and grounds. Ensure routine maintenance is performed as scheduled. * Performs maintenance management by supervising maintenance technicians and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules. * Maintain manufacturing assets and facility, oversees parts inventory, and monitors spending, purchase orders, and invoice approvals. * Set and maintain departmental budget by reviewing financial statements, and by monitoring line efficiencies, labor costs, and other expenses. * Provide formal Performance Evaluation on direct reports at least twice a year, with regular monthly touch-point and feedback conversations throughout the year. * Verifies quality of technical work force by his/her direct reports, and provide feedback as needed, holding all Maintenace personnel accountable to technical standards of their work. * Coordinate work with outside contractors as needed, providing project management, ensuring safety of personnel, and performing other duties as required. * Participate in designing and developing production capacities and capabilities by engaging in planning and coordinating with Plant Management and other functions. * An understanding and a hand-on ability to work on electrical systems (up to 480V), pumps, pipework and machinery. * Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED; bachelor's degree in engineering or a Technical field preferred. Certificate in area of specialty a plus (+) with minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
OTHER SKILL SETS: * English: Ability to read, write and understand English, comprehend procedures, instructions, correspondence, and memos. The ability to speak and understand Spanish is a plus. * Math: Ability to do basic math, compute rate, ratio and percentage. * Computer Skills: Knowledge of MS Office, Microsoft Office, SAP and learn company's production software &
