Excellent Direct Hire Opportunity for Shop Technician in Burns Harbor, IN.
Pay is $15 to $17 per hour.
Mon - Sat - 7am to 6pm. Hours will decrease slightly during the Winter months.
- Steward and Caretaker of company's assets.
- Basic repair and maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain inventories of supplies.
- Assist Mechanic on jobs.
- Running for parts from local vendors.
- Moving heavy equipment i.e. Mack Trucks, etc.
Requirements for Shop Technician:
- CDL License not required but would be a plus!
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
- Work requires mechanical aptitude, previous diesel repair, a plus.
- Previous experience working with various shop tools; saws, grinders, etc.
