We are searching for an independent and very knowledgeable Diesel Mechanic for a Mon-Fri (optional Saturdays) position. Normal business hours 8-5 and depending on amount of work Saturdays will be TBD. Our shop consists of 3 bays. Must be highly skilled in Volvo, Kentworth, and Freightliner trucks.

Job duties include but not limited to:
- Inspection/inventory and repair of semi-trucks/trailers
- Inspect/repair of material handling equipment
- Inspection/repair of general purpose company vehicles
- Assist in the set up of new equipment
- Perform basic maintenance on Company Fleet trucks & trailers
- Tire changes
- Electrical repairs
- Oil changes
- Welding
- Brake replacement
- Shop Maintenance-Cleaning

KEY JOB Requirements:
- Technical training in accredited program (preferred)
- Capable of proactively seeking out needed repairs
- Speak and read English (bilingual appreciated as well)
- Must be self-motivated and able to work without supervision
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have your own tools
