Contemporary Logistics is an established freight brokerage. Looking for a creative, dynamic, and professional sales rep with previous experience in logistics and brokerage. You will work alongside a small team of Business Development Representatives. You need to have your own book of business, build productive relationships with clients, carriers, etc, and achieve all company goals.
✅ Bringing your own book of customers is a must

✅ Salary range: $100,000 - $600,000
Responsibilities:
️ Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and building rapport with clients ️ Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs ️ Arrange business meetings with prospective clients ️ Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives ️ Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines ️ Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support ️ Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers ️ Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople phone and networking ️ ️ Comfortable using phone call interaction with industry professionals
️ ️ Initiate contact with potential customers and carriers at any levels
️ ️ Managing time effectively to achieve daily and monthly goals
️ ️ Negotiating rates to achieve commission goals
Qualifications:
️️ Working experience in a business development representative, sales, or a relevant role ️️ Experience in customer support is a plus or Book of Business ️️ Proficiency in English, bilingual is a plus ️️ Market knowledge ️️ Communication and negotiation skills ️️ Ability to build rapport ️️ Time management and planning skills ️️ Multi-task and detail-oriented
