This position is for part-time Cashier/Stocker at a local liquor store. The store is in a safe, high traffic area that is surrounded by restaurants and businesses. The store is open 7 days a week. The applicant must be at least 21 years old
The employee will be responsible for:
• using a computerized cash register to record customer transactions
• assisting customers in the selection of beer, wine, spirits and beverages
• stocking the shelves and beer cooler
• keeping the work area neat and tidy

The following skills are required:
• The ability to read and write in English and communicate effectively with customers in English.
• The ability to exhibit a positive customer service attitude
• The ability to lift 15-20 pounds
• After training demonstrate the ability to utilize the cash register to accurately record transactions
• Timeliness
• The ability to maintain a good attendance record
• Knowledge of beer, wine and liquor

The following skills are a plus, but not required:
• Bilingual
