Commercial Cleaning Manager needed for a growing new-construction, commercial cleaning company. We are looking for an honest, reliable, and self-motivated/driven individual to take our company to the next level.
Managers work to manage labor appropriately and effectively to clean the current projects in a manner that satisfies all contractual obligations between management and the General Contractors. They supervise and allocate tasks to supervisors & workers, inspect cleaning activities daily, respond to clients' complaints and project-specific needs, and maintain inventory of janitorial supplies.
Problem-solving skills are important, as the Manager must address various challenges, such as delayed schedules, shortage of labor for projects, equipment failure, logistic complications from out of town projects, and circumstances caused by other subcontractors on site.
It is the job of the Cleaning Manager to effectively allocate tasks to janitorial workers. The Manager may conduct weekly training sessions to improve the janitorial workers' knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper waste disposal methods, as well as safe handling of all chemicals and equipment in use. The Manager must be able to competently complete daily reports and logs to adhere to the company's procedures and policies.
Cleaning Manager have a duty to ensure their workplaces comply with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as meeting the standards set by the General Contractor(s) and Architect(s). Other duties include supervising the work to ensure compliance to contract specifications and coordinating cleaning services to meet project deadlines set forth by the General Contractor(s).
Salary: $50-60k based upon experience & references.
Cleaning Manager should be bilingual in order to communicate with all team members.
