Hiring Fleet Manager with experience only Arlington Heights, IL

Must have CDL
Manage and supervise company equipment.
Make sure trucks and trailers are safe, operational, and DOT compliant.
Review drivers’ pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, oil changes, tires, brakes, and other services.
Coordinate with repair shops, roadside assistance, and dealerships.
Make sure drivers report damages, defects, warning lights, accidents, and other safety concerns immediately.
Inspect equipment condition and follow up on damages caused by drivers.
Work closely with the Safety and Operations departments.
Prepare the fleet for DOT inspections and roadside compliance.
Respond to after-hours equipment emergencies when necessary.
Help train drivers on proper equipment inspections and reporting procedures.
Ensure trucks and trailers are clean and properly maintained.
