🚛  Open Position: Fleet Manager
📍  Location: East Dundee, IL
We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager who will take full responsibility for managing the fleet, drivers, and technical operations. This is a key role in a stable and growing company where accountability, structure, and leadership are highly valued.
 
Compensation
$75,000–$90,000 per year
Standard Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (CST)
This is a critical department within the company, therefore high availability and prompt communication outside standard working hours may be required as needed.
 
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role
- Valid CDL is required
- Experience in the trucking industry
- Languages: Ukrainian, Russian, English
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
 
Nice to Have:
Experience with fleet systems such as Motive (KeepTruckin), Samsara, TMS, Fleetio
Previous team management experience
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily fleet operations
- Oversee the technical condition of trucks
- Handle truck and trailer check-in / check-out, including inspections and damage documentation
- Organize truck preparation before dispatch and upon return from trips
- Conduct driver orientation for new drivers
- Willingness to travel and recover trucks in other states when required
- Coordinate urgent repairs, road service, and work with external vendors
- Maintain accurate technical and maintenance records in the internal system
- Ensure compliance with DOT and safety regulations
- Supervise and coordinate after hours support team
